Teilla & Taquan ("TQ") have the sweetest spirits. From the moment we first chatted, I was in love with them. They are gentle, loving, kind... all the qualities you would want in a couple you have to photograph! These are also qualities that make them perfect for each other. They balance each other out in the best ways!
I was lucky enough to spend a few days with them where they live in Austin, Texas earlier last year. They had recently relocated there when TQ got a job offer he couldn't refuse. They had me come down there to photograph their engagement session. (You can see it HERE.) I really got to know them on that trip, and it was such a pleasure to hang out together and have them show me around their new city. I not only fell in love with Austin, Texas... I fell in love with them!!
Fast forward to their big day: it was an absolutely gorgeous! Perfect weather, gorgeous venue, tons of friends and family... it was exactly what every bride dreams of! Their ceremony and reception were on the rooftop at the Hyatt Regency at The Arch. It's one of my favorite places in St. Louis. The staff is incredible, and the views are stunning.
They had their ceremony and reception back-to-back, so I orchestrated a First Look for them so that we could do all of their photographs before the festivities. This is one of my favorite elements to a wedding day!! It's so intimate and private, plus it allows the couple to talk and visit by themselves for a little while. It's really the only time they get to be alone the entire day!
With that being said, I hope you enjoy some of my favorite images from their wedding in St. Louis. You will find a list of their vendors at the end of this post.
