Sarah + Bob: Married: Grafton, IL: Pere Marquette Lodge

Sarah & Bob are two of the sweetest, funniest people I have ever had the pleasure of working with!  Their wedding day was full of family, love, and a ton of laughter.  We spent the day with them in Grafton, Illinois - which if you haven't been there, you need to go!  The views are stunning and the town is adorable.  

All the details of the wedding were incredibly personal, and much of the decor (including their cake) was designed and created by family.  One of my favorite details were Sarah's shoes... I mean, who doesn't love vintage inspired blue sparkly beauties?!  Their bridal party was huge, which for most photographers is a bad thing, but I LOVE big bridal parties!!  The more, the merrier!  From my perspective, a large bridal party speaks volumes about the couple and their support network.  The bigger the bridal party, the more love there is that day!  

Everyone was so sweet and kept checking on us all day, and were so complimentary.  It was incredibly hot and everybody kept making sure we had enough water and that we were okay.  It was so lovely and heartwarming to be appreciated!  (But c'mon - I'm the one that's supposed to be taking care of THEM!)
